The book more or less follows the same plot as the game however, there are a few differences in plot from the game. The protagonist is Link either as a child or an adult, and during the course of the book he is on a quest to stop Ganondorf from taking over Hyrule.
There are two parts to this manga: Child Saga and Adult Saga. Released in 1998, it is an adaptation of the video game.
